NCT -Mission Geography
Peeking through God's Window on the World

Mission Objective:

1. To gain an understanding of God’s love for His world by studying the countries in the world and the unreached people groups that live there.

2 For each student to learn that they can impact these unreached people groups for Jesus Christ through prayer and service.

Service Projects:  Students will have an opportunity to volunteer for 4 different service projects this year. There is a service project for each 8 week term. Students are asked to be involved with at least 2 service projects to complete this portion of their grade for the year.

Final Project: Students will present a final service project as if they were preparing to go on a mission trip to work with that unreached people group.

Students will  spend time in each of the 11 regions around the world.

These units consist of hands on mapping projects, watching internet interviews from support groups in that region, writing a prayer journal that correlate with the struggles faced by the people groups in that region and reading and discussing primary source materials such as newsletters and online websites of support groups and missionaries currently working in that region.

Full Color Maps, Posters, Newsletters, and postcards

 from each region are provided.
